Greetings my friends and a very warm but wet welcome to my blog.
My good friend Captain Tongo called me the other day and suggested I think about ways to use urban space for gardening.
This is called Guerilla Gardening and I think it is a very good idea.
In fact I have come up with an idea for Spitfire Island in Erdington by B&Q.
We could be growing vegetables everywhere there is space!
Evidently Tescos are thinking of offering land next to some of their stores as allotments.
Good news on The Rainbow front. The Abacus has gone bust! Maybe the person who complains should be moved to upstairs in the pub!!!!
My efforts to stop ladies leaving the prices on the soles of their shoes is having results.
My Style Police report a noticeable decline in numbers reported in the City Centre.
I love your summer sports.
I am hoping to get down to Edgbaston this week to see some Underwater Cricket!
In fact I might design some new sportswear especially for your summer.
More in 2 weeks time,
Good bye.
Igor.

Igor Romanoff - Style Guru on Aston FM 15-07-09
Welcome to my latest observations on the Style of Birmingham.
I think this man below looks very stylish with his matching boxers and pocket handkerchief.
A very smart way to attend the office!
Now I read with interest that the council are to spend £70,000 repairing the leak in the "Floozy in the Jacuzzi" Maybe they should send one of their engineers to B&Q to buy a tube of Silicon Sealant for only £6.99!
In Russia she would be called "Olgo in the Volga!"
I enjoyed my trip to The Taste of Birmingham where I met a fellow countryman Ivan Bogeroff.
Unfortunately we couldn't find any Vodka!
Captain Tongo was there and he promised me some fresh Beetroot for my Borsch recipe.
The team from City TV Birmingham are interested in me taking my show on the screen, so watch out for more news.
I will be visiting my Style Police over the next few days to make sure they are keeping up the good work. Especially the prices on shoes.
Until the next time,
Igor.

Igor Romanoff - Style Guru on Aston FM 01-07-09
Greetings my friends.
I hope we are starting to see sense in Digbeth. No more silliness. We want vibrant area, not quiet wilderness and boring people.
My thanks go to The Stirrer.com for showing my solution to the Abacus noise problem.
My Ice BBQs are available soon. Red is cool. Blue cooler and Black very STRONG.All you need are Ice chippings, some tasty Ice Bergers, Ice Kebabs and Iceberg Lettuce, a bottle of Romanoff Vodka and you have a party!
My Style Police are active around the city. Sightings of price stickers on lovely ladies shoes are coming down, but a glut of crop tops on big bellies is a worry and we must stay vigilant.
I'm recruiting extra Style Police, so if you want to join send your CV to Gary at Aston FM or contact Igor direct.
I had wonderful time at The Canada Day BBQ at The Earl of Edgbaston's on Wednesday. Lots of good people there having a good time. I took along a few bottles of Romanoff Vodka to help the celebrations.
Until my next broadcast,
Igor.
